I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions.

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University in 2006, completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Medical Center, and was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) postdoctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. After completing my fellowship at Duke, I joined the faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where I later held both faculty and adjunct positions.

Before relocating with my family to Florida, I founded a private practice and served as a faculty psychologist and assistant clinical professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My clinical work has focused on helping teens and adults manage anxiety, depression, and the emotional challenges that often accompany chronic medical conditions and disability.

I am committed to helping individuals develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional resilience, and live more fulfilling lives.
