  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement for sessions through their out-of-network mental health benefits.

If you would like to seek reimbursement, I will provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company each month.

  • You may want to call your insurance provider and ask:

        •    Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services?

        •    What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?

        •    What is my deductible, and how much of it has been met?

        •    Do I need pre-authorization or a referral?

  • Insurance companies may request CPT codes. These typically include:

        •    90791 – Initial evaluation (90-minute new patient session)

        •    90837 – 60-minute individual therapy

        •    90834 – 45-minute individual therapy

  • Under the No Surprises Act (Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act), health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with an estimate of the expected charges for medical and mental health services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency psychological services. The information below outlines the potential costs associated with treatment in this practice.

  • Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the appointment to another client.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be subject to the full session fee.
